How We Report
Equipment Reporters inspects used vehicles, trucks and machines for the people buying them. We work for the buyer, never the seller. This page shows what we claim, what we do not, and how to check a report before you pay for one.
- Independent. We work for the buyer, never the seller
- 14 inspection types, each with its own published scope
- A photo report with real measurements and a plain verdict
- We inspect on site, wherever the machine is
- No license, certificate or award is listed here, so none is claimed
Who We Work For
The person buying the machine asks for the inspection, and the report goes to them. We do not work for the seller. That is the whole point of an independent report. It lets you negotiate or walk away with facts in hand.
What a Report Holds
Each inspection type has its own page that lists the scope, the tools and the form, so you can see what gets checked before you book. On the day, we run the full diagnostic and measurement pass for that class of machine. You get photos, the readings we took, what we found and a plain verdict.
What We Do Not Claim
You will not find a license number, a certificate or an award on this site, so we do not claim one here. If your lender, insurer or job site needs a set license or certificate, ask for proof of it before you book. That is a fair question for any inspector.
Where Our Facts Come From
Our model guides lay out the known problem areas on popular machines and what we check to catch them. Our blog answers common buyer questions in plain words. Neither one is a report on your machine. Only an inspection is.
