Crane Inspection
Cranes live and die on wire rope, the load-chart system, and a current certification. We inspect to the standard, not the paint.
A crane that can't pass its annual certification can't legally lift, and the wire rope and load-moment system are where safety lives. We inspect the boom, rope, outriggers, and LMI, and verify the machine carries a current certification before you commit to buying it.
- Boom sections, wear pads, and sheaves
- Wire rope condition — broken wires, kinks, corrosion, and crushing
- Hydraulics and holding valves for drift
- Outriggers, jacks, and pads
- Load moment indicator (LMI) and anti-two-block
- Swing bearing and turntable play
- Hoist winch, drum, and brake
- Hook block and load line
- Structure, welds, and current annual certification
- Carrier / chassis or crawler undercarriage, and engine
- Wire-rope inspection tools and calipers
- Hydraulic pressure test gauge
- LMI / anti-two-block test reference
- Ultrasonic thickness gauge (structure)
- Digital multimeter
- Inspection light and mirror
- Camera for documentation
