Trailer Inspection

Trailers fail where you can't see — bearings, brake magnets, and rotted decking. We pull it apart enough to know it's road-safe.

A trailer looks fine until a bearing seizes on the interstate. We check the running gear, electric brakes, lighting circuits, coupler, and structure so you know the trailer will tow loaded, stop straight, and pass a roadside check.

What we inspect
  • Axles, bearings, and hub play / spin test
  • Electric or surge brakes: magnets, drums, and adjustment
  • Tires: tread, age, load rating, and matching
  • Coupler, ball, safety chains, and breakaway system
  • 7-pin wiring, lights, and ground circuits
  • Frame, welds, and crossmembers for cracks and rust
  • Deck / floor for rot, delamination, or soft spots
  • Suspension, springs, equalizers, and shackles
  • GVWR / axle ratings verified against intended use
  • Jack, ramps, gates, and tie-down points
