A best-selling electric scissor lift. Battery pack health, cylinder drift, and the pothole-protection bars are the make-or-break checks.
The GS-1930 is one of the most common electric scissor lifts in service. On an electric scissor, the battery pack is a major cost, and the lift cylinder, holding valve, and pothole-protection bars are the safety items.
Tired battery packs are a major scissor-lift expense.
CHECK Test pack voltage under load and check charger operation and cell condition.
A drifting platform signals a failing cylinder or holding valve.
CHECK Raise the platform, hold, and watch for descent.
The pothole bars must deploy to allow elevation.
CHECK Confirm the pothole bars deploy and function.
Scissor pins and pads wear with cycles.
CHECK Inspect scissor pins and pads for play and wear.
Deck extension, controls, and the tilt alarm must work.
CHECK Test the deck extension, controls, and tilt/level alarm.
