Crane Inspection

Cranes live and die on wire rope, the load-chart system, and a current certification. We inspect to the standard, not the paint.

A crane that can't pass its annual certification can't legally lift, and the wire rope and load-moment system are where safety lives. We inspect the boom, rope, outriggers, and LMI, and verify the machine carries a current certification before you commit to buying it.

What we inspect
  • Boom sections, wear pads, and sheaves
  • Wire rope condition — broken wires, kinks, corrosion, and crushing
  • Hydraulics and holding valves for drift
  • Outriggers, jacks, and pads
  • Load moment indicator (LMI) and anti-two-block
  • Swing bearing and turntable play
  • Hoist winch, drum, and brake
  • Hook block and load line
  • Structure, welds, and current annual certification
  • Carrier / chassis or crawler undercarriage, and engine
